What Wellness Activities Do for You
It Settles the Mental Noise
Arranging moss, soil, and plants requires just enough focus to pull your attention away from whatever was on your mind before. Two hours with your hands busy with nature does that better than most things, supporting health and wellness.
It Gets the Creative Side Going
Picking your own plants, deciding on the layout, choosing whether to add figurines or keep it minimal—these small decisions add up to something that feels one-of-a-kind. Many are surprised by how much they enjoy unleashing their creativity.
It Works Well as a Team Activity
Getting a group of colleagues to make terrariums together sounds simple, but it tends to produce real conversation in a way that more structured team bonding formats don’t. Participants relax, compare their designs, and bond with each other as individuals.
It Produces Something That Sticks Around
Most activities end when the day does. A terrarium, a kokedama, or a preserved floral garden sits on your shelf afterwards and carries on growing or simply looking good. That continuity is part of what makes it satisfying.
It Suits a Wide Range of People
Kids who want to add figurines to a miniature garden, adults who are curious about plant care, colleagues who’ve never touched a plant pot, they all find their footing quickly. The workshop is paced to make sure no one feels left behind.
It Brings Nature Into Everyday Life
Caring for a small terrarium at home, even just checking the moisture level or misting it occasionally, introduces a quiet routine that most of our participants find grounding. It’s a small action, but a noticeable one.

About J2 Terrarium
J2 Terrarium started with a straightforward idea: that making things with plants should be accessible, affordable, and enjoyable. Five years and countless sessions later, that’s still what drives everything we do! Our instructors are experienced, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they teach, and they’re good at making everyone feel at ease, whether it’s your first time handling moss or you’ve been cultivating a green thumb for years.
We’re based in Yishun and run workshops across Singapore with prices starting from $38 per person. Workshops are fully customisable around your plants, design types, and quantity of materials. Just send us a WhatsApp message if you have something specific in mind!

What Every Experience Includes
Instructors Who Know Their Plants
Our instructors bring over five years of hands-on facilitation experience, which means they can answer questions about plant care, terrarium design, and maintenance without missing a beat. They’re approachable, patient, and love what they do—and it shows!
Customisable to
Your Brief
Open terrarium, closed terrarium, DIY kit, premium build, cactus-heavy or tropical and moist, the options are broad and we’re used to tailoring things around a specific theme or preference. If you have a vision, share it with us.
Everything Provided, Nothing to Stress About
Every session includes everything you need for your chosen workshop, whether that’s a glass jar, soil, moss, pebbles, succulents, air plants, frames, figurines, or other decorative elements. There’s no kit to purchase separately and nothing to bring from home.
Easy to Find,
Easy to Book
Our studio in Singapore is straightforward to get to, and the booking process on our website is just as simple. Availability, pricing, and all the information you need are laid out clearly so there are no surprises on the day.
Built for Any
Group Size
Just two on a date or a corporate group of a hundred, we’ve handled both and everything in between. The experience is designed to scale without losing the personal feel that makes a workshop worth attending.
Straightforward Terms and Real People
Refund policies, booking terms, and any questions about your session are handled directly by the team, not a chatbot. We keep things transparent so you can book with confidence.
Singapore’s Favourite for Fun Activities
Looking for things to do in Singapore? Dates, family outings, team days, we’ve got you covered.

For Dates
A DIY terrarium workshop is a good call when you want something more engaging than the usual dinner option. You’re working on something side by side, there’s plenty to talk about, and you both leave with a plant.

For Corporate Teams
There’s no presentation, no team exercise, and no one being put on the spot. People sit down, pick their plants, make a terrarium, and the conversation happens naturally. It’s a low-pressure afternoon that works for most events.

For Friends
Whether it’s a birthday, a long-overdue catch-up, or just one of those fun activities in Singapore you keep meaning to try, a group workshop session is simple to book and easy to enjoy. No particular skills needed, just show up.

For Visitors to Singapore
If you’re visiting Singapore and want something beyond the standard attractions, a hands-on workshop at our studio gives you a made-by-you souvenir and a relaxed couple of hours. Worth a visit, we think!

For Families
Kids take to the miniature garden and figurine elements quickly, and parents get to make something for themselves at the same time. It’s one of the few activities where different ages are equally absorbed in what they’re doing.

For Gifts
If a workshop isn’t the right fit right now, our studio stocks a range of ready-made terrariums, preserved floral pieces, and miniature gardens available for purchase. Thoughtful, lasting, and a gentle way to tell someone you’re thinking of their well-being.
